Could be possible he’s feeling the pinch after a year out? He was straight in after one VFL game. However, if they were managing him like Parish, they should just say it. Has he been named in the VFL this week?

Unlikely given he was omitted. In saying that he may be the traveling emergency and have the week off any way even though our VFL side plays in Sydney

Going to be real interesting to see whether our forward line, in any game until he returns to it, can manage a game where they look remotely functional.

Then for no reason moved to a wing then dropped.

Agree the whole wing thing was bizarre. I didn’t mind him forward he could take a grab and use it well, my only concern was his speed and agility in what is already the slowest forward line in history

He came in when we moved Langford to the wing, which increased our F50 defensive pressure (and goals).

I really hate this move. Scott has effectively sneaked Cox in for May, then dropped Edwards for May. Cox had nowhere near good enough form to come in for Edwards. Yet he’s staying.

I hate Scott.

Came back from an ACL. Kicked 5 in his first game back in the VFL. Straight back into the ones at FF. Suddenly our forward line starts to look functional. Inexplicably moved to wing, sucks there. Dropped so that Cox can stay in.

I’ve got nothing left to say about selection this season, I swear. Oh, and Perkins gets gifted an armchair ride back into the seniors too, that’s something to look forward to.

I swear, the only possible for reason for keeping Scott around at this point is that he sucks so much that we won’t HAVE to tank with him around. Only question is how much more damage can he do to the playing group in the meantime.

This sums up my thoughts.

The VFL side is playing in Sydney on the Sunday. No reason for any emergency to miss both games.
