Alwyn Davey snr would have made a terrible ruckman so was not played there. Why play a pretty good forward on a wing when we actually have wingers on the team that are not playing wing and then drop him after a quiet game. Now saying all that Alwyn made a terrible CHF but was still played there hahahaha

He’s good inside 50, up the field when he gets the ball he’s so slow to move the ball on its a liability.
First 9 AFL games has kicked 11 goals with some of those games being played out of position in one of the worst teams ever for delivery into the forward line. He has been pretty good at AFL level.

It’s almost like thats a stupidly narrow minded way to look at it.

He gives his best and is a very nice natural kick. I just don’t think he’s good enough.
The poster was a massive Scott fan so everything he posts has that slant to it. So if Brad didn’t rate a player then neither do they.

Kicked a cracker for his 5th on the 27 minute mark of the last to put us up by 8 points in the vfl. Then with around 30 seconds to go takes a great grab on the wing. Great game.

He looked good today. Took some strong marks and looked dangerous. A pity it’s looking very wet again next Saturday as he’s due for a strong performance on a dry MCG
Just has to play seniors as a deep forward. He knows where the goals are. He also is dangerous in the air. If we use his strengths he is a real X factor for our team. Was very stiff to be dropped after playing in a shockingly windy game last week.

He has looked underwhelming in the AFL. But he has about other 20 players just like him every time he plays.

I don’t think there is place in the modern game for a specialist deep forward, modern players need to participate in full ground defence or be able to rotate upfield. Edwards is not at exceptional 1 on 1 player, so if he’s only a deep forward he won’t have a place in the team
