#46 Tom “Tuth Jok Jok” Jok - you’re cut

Lol. … and here I was thinking, … “well, I know they’re all footballers, but that’s a weird fkn question”…

It’s not now, :no_mouth: it was just a hilarious answer, deliberately takin the urine or not. Pizzing myself.

He’s a bomber supporter so I’m guessing he watches the games still.

He didn’t seduced to the dark side by Collingwood

… but no “why”. Why not - was he threatened with chopsticks?

Yeah classic. Being tall and lanky he was never gonna say ground-ball.

He would have really won me over if he’d said “loopy handball under pressure” though.

Looked a VERY long way off the pace tonight. Not AFL standard. Maybe one day… but has to go back to the VFL to learn to stand under the ball first.

Side played like trash and you pick him out?

Agree. He looked like he could find the footy, he certainly works hard and cracks in.

Still too early to say whether he’ll make it or not, but there are some good signs.

For sure. It will take a few years. But I’m not discouraged at all.

Ground ball pickups for him for the next year.

Hit looked bad in the last, hope he recovers ok.

I agree. Looked miles off, like two leagues off AFL.
Was in good company with his skills but geez would want to improve fast

Played how I expected. A lot to work with.

Thought his disposal/decision making was diabolical. But not on his own.

The intent is there even if the skills aren’t yet. Looks to be plenty to work with

Agree with the sentiment, he’s miles off it but plenty to work with

He’ll be a threat in the air.
Gets scary height.

Nah I’m with Ash, he was ordinary. Hopeful Just a bit of stage fright as we’ve heard good things. Looking forward to hearing how he goes in VFL though

Concussed in his first game in red and black, badge of honour stuff.

Looked to be a long way off AFL standard. Not impressed at all - any talk of senior footy seems fanciful on tonight’s evidence.
In games like tonight I look for two things:

  1. No injuries
  2. Fringe blokes to show that they have the ability to play senior footy. Jok didn’t really show that. Nor Long, nor Hartley. Ridley did
He seems like a project player … we have seen them come off like a McKenna. Lets see what he looks like in 24 months time after VFL development
