Laid a bruising tackle on Saturday night. Had frontal pressure and intensity. Needs to bring that regularly, with some nous and accurate goal kicking.

Agree. The message being their is increased competition for spots in that role in the 22, so lift your game!

Menzie will be gone once his contract ends.
We basically only have Kako with cameos from the others. We are hardly stacked with quality small forwards.

Not sure if they would want Jade too, but maybe, their small forward stocks are dire.

How did he pull up after the weekend’s game? Went off injured, didn’t he, or am I thinking of someone else?
I’m not as pessimistic on Unwin. I think he’s showing something but he does disappear in games no doubt. He is a first year player so he’s got 2 years and the rest of this year to go before his list spot is up for grabs.
