For all the brilliant mathematicians on Blitz (and I’m sure there are plenty!), how does the sequence work? Does this bloke kick six in the VFL this week or, because of the bye, does he go straight to seven? Presumably he is being kept out of the seniors so he can kick a dozen before the season ends. 2, 3, 4, 5, … 6 or 7?

He is being kept out of the side because he kicks goals-Brad doesn’t like us kicking more than 9 or 10 and he upset this!

He’s not playing because Wright and Caddy are both playing well, and May compliments those two better than McMahon.
He’ll 100% get a game (and a deserved one) at some point. But I can at least understand this non-selection.

Correct, it’s not the non-selection which is an issue, he shouldn’t have been picked up in the MSD in the first place.

Why? He’s not 29… Surely this is a shrewd move to at worst bring in some excellent VFL level talent and potentially an AFL forward who could improve and become a really reliable half forward in the next 2-3 years in an AFL system.
Not every list decision at mid season needs to be about the next 4 weeks. No patience.

Yes but his contract is only for six months and you would think we would want to see how he goes in a couple of games before extending it for another year.
Well, if they’re impressed with his progress they will extend it.
Not every decision needs to be for today or the next 2 weeks.

Given our strike rate of keeping KP players on the park, picking a few in the MSD would seem prudent.
