âI was honestly shocked that he chose to play for Essendon. It was an unexpected decision to stop following his path in soccer, and play AFL.
Adrian and Tom must have been regularly catching up behind the scenes because I had no idea he was going to go down this pathâ James Hird on the podcast.

well wouldnât have been the worst isolation getting advice from one of the games greatest every day. plus had the family to kick the footy with.

Wouldnât expect much from him this year, especially with no VFL available. But at least covid has allowed him to catch-up a little after starting so late in the pre-season.
