Nah, he was underdone & had a stinker. Had a dip (as he always does) but he was a step or two off his best, and you can’t get away with that in finals.
He’s a better player at the G, opposite of Jobe who’s normally better at the dome.
Probably depends how our younger guys are going as much as how his body(and willpower) is holding up by that stage. I hope he does go for another 2 seasons after this. On the other hand I wouldn’t mind if he’s looking over his shoulder by some stage next season and sees someone about to knock him off his perch…
The guy is a dead set legend. After all the grief he copped (and still cops in some quarters) he continued to do what he does best. Play strong, consistent football and wear the jumper with pride. A true loyal servant.
agree. reckon he will be a bit like fletch where at the end of every year pundits say he will retire but just keeps on going. pace has never been his strong suit, nor elite disposal. if he can gut run like he does for several more years and provide an outlet then i reckon hes got a spot in the team for a while longer
