Has the Gulf Stream slowed up yet? That’s terrifying.
Dev would be a great captain
This guy is going to be pretty amazing next year, has played three years with a bung knee, won a B&F in the second. He gets to come back to preseason ready to go, hvae a full preseason without limitation and itching for some competitive games in 2020. No more management, limited training!
He was very restricted this year. Not even close to his 2018 self. Despite that he tried hard, but just couldn’t get to that level.
If he comes back in 2018 form then it’s a massive gain for the team. But imagine if he comes back even better…
I think it’s better, he was still on a modified program in 2018 to manage the kneee issue.
I know it’s meant he misses out on a final, but the club sending him for surgery when they did makes me so happy. I just wish they would have forced it upon a couple of others sooner as well.
I just liked your post and I’m a lid offer.
Do you feel dirty? Huh? Huh?
should be in the leadership group next year no doubt
My leadership group would be: Heppell, Zerrett, Smith, Hooker, Hurley & Ambrose.
This year I think it’s: Heppell, Zerrett, Fantasia, Daniher, Myers.
let the players work out their own internal leadership group
Captain - Heppell
VC - Smith
One of the things that I’m most looking forward to next year is this guy being back, fit, hungry after time out of the game and leading with his pressure and energy around the ball. Team feels like it has a softer underbelly without his presence.
Concur.
2018 form, and midfield instantly tougher and better.
I’d be surprised if he got back to his 2018 form next year. We need to taper expectations IMO.

I doubt Dev is going to taper his expectations. I don’t think he knows anything other than going in full bore.
Joe D for Jezza straight up
If both parties mutual (clubs & players), would this be a fair swap???
Get stuffed
No. We would owe GWS something extra.
FWIW, the only GWS player he posted about.
