Perkins laid 8 tackles. Our seniors team needs more defensive pressure and less handballing so from the outside I can understand these team decisions.

That said, I don’t understand the overall list decision of keeping him this year but not playing him. Surely the decision in November was we’re all in or we’re all out.

1 week of doing doesn’t excuse the years of not.

The week before he had three tackles

Handballs are ok provided it’s not the instant give off to a team mate standing next to you. My observation is Elija is taking a bit more time to assess other options. It’s a long season and he will no doubt be playing AFL again this year.

I like to call it the Mcgrath special

Even if he didn’t get the possessions he wouldn’t be chasing tail!

Have you seen his defensive efforts.

He is no worse than the defensive efforts of Parish. He has played 20 games and never been given the opportunity to settle in to AFL standards.

He is better than Parish with more long-term upside IMO

He is not better than Parish right now but right now we are utter shyte & Parish will not be a part of any future successful EFC side. Tsatas might have if he was given a fair opportunity to see what he can do. This is all part of the long line of utterly stupid short sighted decisions the club has made which have all combined to ensure the club have become this farce.

Cool, he had a total of 6 tackles from his 4 AFL games this year.
I’m willing to bet he once again shows not one iota of pressure back in the ones this week

I don’t think he does much chasing

Neither does Parish or Perkins.

We are talking about Tsatas.

I know you are but Perkins and Parish are in the side.

no need to chase when you’re always winning the ball for your team
let them chase us for a change

Tsatas is only 21, he deserves a developing team that is happy to give him that #1 spot and build around him.

Otherwise, for sure he will get a gig at Tassie. He’ll be 23 by the time they sprout which is still so so young. Kid will be fine, just needs some distance from EFC and the same kind belief scott gives perkins weid lual etc.

Plus he laid 8 tackles playing on ball in the VFL. No doubt he’ll play forward and we’ll have Perkins revert to type. He wasn’t even that impressive for me in the VFL. Do not understand the recall of him or Zak Johnson as well to be fair!

ZJ needs to play but Perkins shouldn’t be in
