Men of outstanding moral fibre and guys you just have to build a club around
Weâre talking about Hind and Stringer here arenât we? Just so thereâs no confusion and smoke and mirrors behind the windows.
Yup
I donât think more senior guys having stern words to younger players would be all that uncommon.
Itâs also equally on young players to sort wheat from the chaff. I reckon youâd take on board any feedback on standards from Merrett or Goldstein, but Stringer and Hind?
If that was the case. Why wouldnât you drop them both for being flogs? Why would you keep playing them week after week?
I thought Brad standards Scott was trying to build the team and wouldnât take shortcuts
What a mess this club is
Fwiw, I hope Tsatas gets a trade and goes to another club and he kills it
No idea, and I donât disagree.
But I would say punting them out of the club completely was pretty telling.
Gee what a surprise that someone is saying that it was because they told some âhome truthsâ to other players rather than the numerous other issues both presented to the club at different times.
I have heard similar things from someone who was associated in a role in the VFL program. He is supposedly arrogant and rude and doesnât engage with the VFL people. Although not ideal and you want all your players to be respectful. I mentioned if we can fix his kicking and he can be an arrogant, explosive elite mid, iâd be prepared to put up with a FIGJAM attitude. Think we need to have people who can football over being school captain. Not sure he is either at the moment but would like to give him a decent run to make a proper determination.
To be clear, this feedback was provided last year. No idea if anything has changed.
I love the Blitz snowball effect
Not mad at this, canât have nice guyâs all over the club. Need some with a bit of â â â â in them. If that rubs people the wrong way, so be it, as long as his game does the talking.
Yea, I agree.
I probably downplayed this. Grain of salt 'n all for you guys, I understand. But my guy has never fwd me anything wrong. If he said it about Tsatas then itâs true. Has given me a tonne of info over the years, and free memberships for a while too haha
Donât know how he got such an inflated opinion of himself, when he canât even kick the ball properly.
Plenty of young guys who have been talked up in their youth develop the fig jam attitude. You just hope they can back it up on the field where itâs an asset rather than a detriment. Learning a bit of humility as they mature would also be a good thing.
You donât be a smart ass about people no longer here. And make jokes about how they died
One had to go and wouldâve retired anyway.
The other well , he was made an example of even though there are plenty of party boys who donât train hard enough. And in all honesty itâs been the best thing that happened to him
Just say what happened and name the players, you donât need to speak in code.
They were named earlier. And not hard to work out who died
Iâve heard the same from a pretty reliable source.
Just say it then
Sure.
Plus the other stuff of course
