#6 Joe Daniher - drank a beer

osteitis pubis recovery
Participating in activities that cause pain will mean that healing will take longer. Sometimes it takes 2 to 3 months or longer for symptoms to go away. Put an ice pack, gel pack, or package of frozen vegetables, wrapped in a cloth on the area…
Now he’s smiling, laughing and ready next season to clean the pool.

Are players suppose to be able to detect their own injuries?
He may had thought it was a groin, it looked like a groin but it was something more sinister.

H’m, I think you’ve been tigging the spice rum.

Will be 28 in three years…and 31 in 6 years…deeply, deeply troubling…

Don’t think he will play again unless we play finals

Na he still be being disciplined for the finals.

Lieing it’s worse than biting which we all know is a moral outrage.

Just being realistic

As much as you think that… its quite a simple rule across nearly all clubs.

You dont play sore or injured or tired players.

Theres several reasons for this, one is OH&S nowdays… but JD did it of his own volition… but that is no excuse. these OP problems need to be treated straighted away and rested… playing through injury just dosnt cut it.
Take stringer he was ready to play last week and had a mild calf strain and probably could have played the week before… but coaches said NO. The days of playing through injury are well gone… and it is about due dilligence that JD discloses all his aches and pains to the medics. He obviously didnt and now has payed the price… so has the team and supporters… we may not make finals.

Thing is… its a pretty serious breach of team rules… drinking on sunday when you should be in recovery is a big no no, and we have seen players get inter club suspensions for that, and that just effects recovery which could effect you being your best.

Playing injured effects everyone right on to the ground. Coaches fans players VFL players…
Im just saying it is a much more serious offence than it seems on the surface, especially since we came out of a drug saga which really centered around bad communication between coaches and players… more than ever full disclosure amongst the playing group will be an absolute… more so when if effects your team on the field.
That said there is no confirmation of it… but how a 4week injury gos this long… seems pretty suss.

The idea that we could have a guy playing weekly and training regularly under the noses of how many coaches and fitness staff, and he’s able to hide that he’s injured…
…blows my mind.

Oooooh, you tricked us, you tricksy thing.
