#6 Joe Daniher - drank a beer

Calm down everyone, swimming is a known treatment (fixed my OP 30 years ago, did not have a groin issue for the next decade). JD will be fine.

1 game in 8 or 3 in 8 isn’t gonna make one iota of difference.

I’m sure you can fix it. It’s whether it can be fixed so he can meet the demands of playing AFL football week in week out.

It is devastating isnt it.

Embarrassing what has happened to our prized asset. The fact that it needs to even be said the club thinks he’ll be right for round 1 is concerning considering rehab started in April.

Have a sick feeling in my stomach at the thought of Joey being cooked from his OP.

Will be very closely monitoring reports on him in the off season. If its true he hasnt even started running…■■■■ me.

I hope that’s not compulsory !

You should ask the OP specialist about that one. The literature and research on OP shows rest is a crucial step to recovery and to avoid aggravation.

Exactly. Rest. Not 3 games. Not 1. So you can harp on about 3 in 8 all day but none is the magic number.

Given what happened to his brother I wouldn’t be surprised if they are being ultra cautious.

Played for North, has a brother at Adelaide I think.

What happened to his brother? Has he got a brother?

Darcy.

Had his career cut short by OP.
