What I said in another thread the other day.

Losing stringer may mean 42 direct goals out the door but we might gain more by him not being there.

Hopefully it’s the kick up the bum they needed with Jake gone.

Im glad he has the balls to say it.
Calders is a leader.

I’ll say it, I’m bewildered at Calders not being in the leadership group.

Having gone to a lot of sessions this summer, he carries a real aura and presence. Whenever he was in a drill he directed and had voice, always somewhat upbeat bringing energy.
Then on game day he has a fair amount of follow me boys about the way he plays.

Even small things like the approachability of Jye around training is different. He will say g’day to fans and engage people, while others are head down get through this crowd.

Just caught me of guard when I came across the announcement. Hopefully he has a big year and forces his way in

Why would we want Caldwell in the leadership group when we’ve got Andrew McGrath as our VC?

What happened with Jye tonight? Was named starting 22 but didn’t play (I think)?

He played. Started well. Probably on managed minutes

14 touches from 36% TOG. Played well when on the field. Excited for his year!

had 14 touches (all good) on only 30% game time. Didnt play the second half.

Does anyone know if he’s okay? He wasn’t on the bench in the second half with the other rested players.

I assumed he was doing additional running loading while he was warm.
