#6 Jye Caldwell

As a side note, it seems that Caldwell has well and truly got over his hammy issues.

2 years ago that sounded like a fantasy.

Something our high performance has done well.

Although I don’t disagree with the sentiment - he’s actually 2 or 3 years away from his prime.

Maybe for a KPP or Ruckman. Not for a midfielder.

23-28 are the Prime years for a midfielder.

If you look at the drafts he was in and the one after him he is well behind most of the other midfielders and most of those guys are in better sides so I don’t think the whole being held out by parish and Merrett is really a arguement

How about the excuse that he’s a midfielder who spends half the game in the forward pocket?

It’s the exact same situation as parish.

Who said he’s still young?

There’s more then two midfield spots and if he was a jet he would be playing there more

It’s time for the players to take responsibility for their own performances.

LOL, Parish and Langford say hi. Played in their natural position they became A graders.

Well in that case, as you have cleverly pointed out - he is both ‘in his prime’, and, ‘2 or 3 years away from it’…
