I wouldn’t read into things too much, was he initially invited? When invitations went out originally is the question? Did he plan holidays around the same time and couldn’t make i?

I’m only guessing but maybe McGrath invited the whole team, ex long time teammates/old friends and family. One of those we are going away and getting married if you want to come and pay your own accommodation/flights your welcome?

Or they may have only been interested because he was free. If they had to trade they may not have made the official offer.

I wouldn’t normally read into these things at all, but it does stand out when everyone in the leadership group except Zach is there + the coach and about a dozen or so other players. Maybe there’s a good reason, but you have to wonder how integrated he is with the group.
