This is actually really odd. Why wouldn’t we enter someone like Hartley?
Same reason we don’t enter McGrath or Raz in the sprint. We don’t care. And we seem to like taking the pisss
I actually totally get not sending a star to do the sprint. Don’t want to risk a hammy.
But a long kick? No risk there. Why not actually send someone who can kick more than 45m?

Should make it Conor McKenna - does a little kick to himself, plays on, runs hard weaving down the guts of the G with three bounces and finishes with a long kick through the goals.

The strange selection of players for these events would most likely have something to do with sponsorship.
Cant think of any other reason.
