He’s was/is brilliant, no doubt. It’s just that in 2017, he was maybe playing at the fringes of his physical ability… kicking goals outside 60 on the run, leaping over blokes guys 6ft+. If he can do that again in 19 without reinjuring … great. If he can’t quite, there’s no shame in playing more of a team role for a season to ensure the body is right long term.

I am a big fan of both Smack and Brown so I hope they get plenty of games.
But I still think Joe is capable of being a top 5 player in the league if not the best and gif that occurs then we will be unstoppable.
Ask him if he’s heard the good news about the Sam Docherty and Jarrod Pickett injuries.

People have to be kidding themselves having Smith above Merrett.
Who is most valuable? Probably JD as kpp are harder to get. Raz is also vitally important to us. But whose our best player, Merrett for sure.
On ratings he’s around a top 15 mid in the comp. Love what he brings but Smith is nowhere near that.
Do the opposition look to tag Smith?
