I didn’t realise how good his hands below his knees were contesting the loose ball. Very impressive. He and Durham and Sharp will be a very good starting midfield.

Needs to stop bouncing the ball immediately. It threw his rhythm out to stuff up the pass to Caddy, and while it worked out, made the pass to Clarke awkward.

Got the best hands at the club. Also alongside Sharp is the strongest over the footy. And both are first year players. Putting the rest of the midfielders to shame.

Dont mind him not getting a lot of minutes in the middle.
He’s done very well to make it through the season as is, we don’t need to break any of our youngsters for a season that doesn’t matter.

I understand the caution, but he doesnt strike me as the type to get injured easily. He had the hot spot/stress fracture that might have come from over training. But in game, he’s so big and powerful, his body doesnt tend to get wrenched around by contact and tackles in the same way that others do.

His kid is a freak. You cannot tackle him. It’s amazed how poised and controlled he is in the contest, it’s almost as if everyone decides not to touch him — but it’s only because he’s so bloody strong.

Robey not being in the middle for large parts is about not breaking Robey. That is all.
