You go for it if you can get him fit for the last game or two.
Surgery???
A artial MCL does not need surgery
I’m surprised.
Tears located in the outer one-third (the “red zone”) have a rich blood supply and can often heal on their own.
Ok.
Froggy Davey
thats why Voss would have been good.
what about arterial mcl?
If he’s looking 100% in 2 weeks I’d be cautious even then. It’s a tear. Save the passion for next season young fella. Compound interest.
No. When you have done your rehab your good to go.
Be good to see him back vs Swans at the G with any luck.
They will get the PRP into him and he will be good to go.
That is not how thing’s work. You don’t inject a meniscus with PRP and then bam, it is back to normal.
Done your rehab, does not ever mean the issue is fixed. Being “ready for return to play” is never being 100%. It is balancing the reward of playing vs the level of risk of re-injury.
And when you are a talented 18yo sitting towards the bottom of the ladder, and 2 meaningless games away from an extended break, there is a very diferent equation of risk and reward to a senior player for a top 4 club on the eve of a finals campaign.
Care to share what makes you such an expert on the subject?
Unfortunately that reads like a total nothing burger amped up to sound good. If it’s only comparing 19yr olds it’s only comparing 2025 draftees who were normal aged. With a five game minimum it means you’re only comparing 20-30 kids or so. Whether they’re forwards, rucks, mids, backs etc. Then, at better teams how many are even getting stoppage opportunities?
As the two highest drafted clearance players I’d bloody hope they were top two in those stats from such a limited pool!
Pretty sure they are a physio
Just curious
