He’s also a ■■■■. And clearly my number 1 most hated journo (and that’s saying something). He started the whole ‘controversy as news’ thing. And he also started the ‘when you don’t have a controversy, just make something up’ thing. He created your Barretts / Stevens’ / Ralphs etc.
He’s a germ. He is basically the reason that none of us can stand the football media these days. It all started with him.

That is pretty much exactly as I recalled it. The bride got excited cause she new I liked footy so took me up to meet him. It was a bit awkward and then he basically told me he wasn’t particularly nice and had missed his wedding, kids birthdays etc etc. And essentially, verbally, said was a ■■■■ and felt no need to expand any further. We nodded knowingly like in that meme of the hairy outdoors type bloke and went our seperate ways.
