They mean the same thing. (In Australia, anyway.)

Acquitted is not guilty. Not guilty is acquitted.

Go call a lawyer. There’s at least 3 on here. Call a judge. Look it up.
You are incorrect.
It is as simple as that.

is there anything you love in life more than arguing, HAP?

You posted an article which said the person was found guilty of one thing, and not guilty of another thing.

I don’t know what else to say.

The judge can have his suspicions, and voice said suspicions in his rulings. I can have my suspicions, or police.
That’s not actually a finding - which can only be either guilty or not guilty.

No.
I mean yes.

You could say it’s a very personal subjective opinion imposed on a real world system, and as such is completely irrelevant.

‘That doesn’t mean he didn’t do it,’ is objectively worthless.
By that logic, ‘that doesn’t mean he did it’ is equally valid.

It’s a nothing statement used to feel good about one’s personal biases.

He’s even does it with himself

This is also true of Not Guilty. In Australia there is the presumption of innocence until proven guilty. If the state can’t prove you are guilty - regardless of whether you did it or not - you are innocent / not guilty. There is no such thing as proving you are not guilty because that is the starting point. The prosecution must prove you are guilty (beyond a reasonable doubt). Anything short of that and you are not guilty.

Isn’t acquitted a term used in America not Australia anyway?

does he though?

you’re wrong. you’re not thinking about this logically.

i’m done arguing with you.

until i’m not.

Statistically the chances of him waking up arguing with himself over an argument he once argued is in the 95th percentile.

Of argueiness.

More Bradshaw impersonations please!
