That home made "We are Essendon" banner on level 3 is ace.Loved the dimmed lights with smoke/red lighting as the players ran out. Reading out each players name is wank.
I have to say, at the start of the season I was a tad shocked to see Pete Lazer doing carlton’s MC’ing at the MCG. I had a mild panic attack as I realised it would either mean he’d only do our MCG games, or at worst, we’d be stuck with that James Sherry flog. Also, (not to rain on @jackie mihocek’s parade), @Stallion and I have already penned our Pete Lazer fanfiction comic called “The LAZERus Effect”. I was really expecting to him to MC the pre show last night. Would have been fitting. Pete Lazer and the night of Lazers. Only recommendation I would suggest is letting out cats while the show is on.
That said, I’m impressed with the new lass Candy Hertz. Previously Candy only hurt my teeth, now Candy Hertz my heart. I was shocked to see people pre game clamering for a selfie with tossbag Dermott Brereton while he walked the boundary. But no one ran down to congratulate Candy on her great effort.

Did not notice the active area last week and I sit in aisle 48. The big guy starting chants is a gun doesn’t get much support though. Grog squad was making most of the noise as usual.
