Adrian Dodoro - Flankers into Mids since 2000 (Part 1)

It’s one of the reason I’ve always been a huge fan. He just works his butt off and you know whatever deficiencies he has he will improve them.

I thought the club had made it too hard for him but he appears to have come out the other side now and is such a key player for us. I just hope with all the hard work now starting to pay off we don’t loose him.

I don’t think he’ll go anywhere, he seems pretty happy.

Quoting, just in case it’s not the product of a random word generator.

Not if this is how they want to the list to be now. We are going nowhere for three to five years. Call it purposeful innovation. That five thousand odd days without winning a final, has a way to go yet.

havent finished above 7th since 2002

think I forgot last week. we’ll go with week 4 this week

If. McKenna goes home, expect Essendon to draft at least 3 half back flankers

When will you lot realise this man must be cannoned first.

Somebody will be made the scapegoat for this year.

Will be either Dodoro or Harvey. Probably Harvey but it should be Dodoro.

At the very least can’t we get a bit of synergy Between the coaches and the list manager? We played Heppell and Clarke on a wing and I’d be damn sure Dodoro didn’t draft them to play those roles.

Looking at the the side compared to Cats we are easily outmatched when it comes to size and even their smaller players have a bit of size too them aswell including the younger ones. I can’t be confident that a change of list manager will change us enough the whole club needs to be in sync for any sort of improvement.

Stephen Wells was appointed as Geelong’s Recruiting Manager in 1994.

Adrian Dodoro was appointed as Essendon’s List Manager in 1998.

Let us compare the pair, shall we?

Wells:
3x Premierships
3x Runners-up
Won 23 finals games
Played finals in 20/27 seasons

Dodoro:
1x Premiership (Almost none of the players were recruited by him)
1x Runners-up
Won 9 finals games
Played finals in 12/23 seasons
Have not won a final in 17 years

Now I ask you, how does this guy still have a job?

Will just be like every game they go to anyway haha, I haven’t ever seen them not hang around eachother when they both go to a game.
