As to who, well the board for starters. Maybe the coach. There may be a committee of the CEO, coach, other key people who set the direction the list management will take. Assuming we have a multi-year plan to be a premiership threat, one that sets out the plan for list management, I’d be staggered if that isn’t a policy decided on by the Board or high level executives.
But here is a question - do you think it was Dodoro’s decision on how to treat the saga related players? I would expect that a decision like that, that impacts our reputation, our culture, but also our list management strategy, was probably decided at board level. Would Dodoro have had input? I would assume so. But I also assume others would have.
To be clear, I’m talking about our overall list management approach, our long term plans, our risk strategy. Not individual picks.
It is, players like Hurls, Hooker, Watson, Parish, Heppell, McKenna, Walla, JoeDan, Raz they are all crap and we will never go anywhere with them because we haven’t developed them properly.
