I hate the notion we are rebuilding and will get better in a few years. The general rule of thumb is a player is in their prime 24-30 and we have a heap of high picks and good players in this bracket

Iāve left off the various role players but thatās 14 high picks in relative primes. You can see how it is appealing to coaches, media and fans. Lots of individually good players, but itās just unbalanced. Dodo has built it without the needed key position players, itās too small, not enough defensive players, poor kicks etc. heās the worst list manager in the competition.

After watching the VFL today and being terrified by our depth, which can only be described as puddle deep, I really hope we make a change to the recruiting department.
Coteries wonāt influence his future. If Vozzo (Barham et all) believe he should be moved on, he will be moved on. I just wonder if thereās a contractual reason that could be influencing the outcome? Either way, even if heās retained, he could / would be removed from direct recruiting responsibility if it were deemed necessary.
Heās halfway through a 40 year plan. The least we can do is let him see it out, and then we can make an assessment if itās list management or coaching that has been the issue.
