Agree. It is an indictment on our recruiting that our best player over the past 2 decades was a father son. We have no players and have not had any in the class of Bont, Petracca, Pendles, Selwood, etc. since Hird and Lloyd left.
Carlton also got Weitering, Curnow, and Mckay in 1 draft. They had a lot of early picks granted, but still, they absolutely nailed them. That’s in addition to Cripps who they drafted a couple of years earlier. Will be telling to see how they go in the finals and the next few years, but I expect they will be very good.

I know it’s been said a thousand times but dodo really must have some substantial dirt on the club to the point where if he leaked it, we’d lose draft picks or something. What else could keep this hack in his role for 26 years? I really don’t understand.
