Adrian Dodoro - Flankers into Mids since 2000 (Part 2)

I question his ability as a list manager, given he hasn’t once built a balanced, contending list in 20 years. But that is by the by.

Powder-puff articles like this just make him seem like a complete and utter twonk.

the whole fluff and aggrandisement of dodoro wreaks of Dean Robinson and the absolute infatuation of him as ‘the weapon’. that ended well.

And people wonder why this club is a laughing stock.

These sorts of articles are an utter embarrassment.

My Collingwood supporting parents, were trying to cheer me up about football last night.

“Ohhhh it looks like Essendon are gonna get some good players during the trade”

My response:

“Every year Essendon are the experts of getting ‘good players’ during the trade. It’s means f*ck all”

Parents: “oh you never know”

Me: “no, I do know. This has been happening for 20 years”.

Yeah but THIS time it’ll be different!

As an article, it’s barely the first draft of the outline of a piece of good sports writing. It doesn’t even really have a point, except to say he’s been around a long time and is a bit divisive, which is almost nothing. Writing about the AFL is just abysmal.

There will be an interesting chat with the man himself with Tom Morris tomorrow.

We need Cal there

WTAF.

How is morris back with an official gig?

The AFL would have to sign off on that at dons level, so if that’s the case it effectively means they support his actions.

That’s the type of people that run the league.

Sorry, as you where.

The fact that Tom Morris still has a job is preposterous. You don’t talk about colleagues, or people within your industry the way he did and remain employed.

Reputation destroying sexual harassment. He should have been shown the door. Any trained monkey could replace him

Edited for accuracy.

What if he apologised, said that he will learn from this and make sure it doesn’t happen again?

He did

That’s good

Too bad

Some clear friction between Cal and Dodoro.

Machiavelli seems more appropriate

Not for me if he was remorseful for his actions and apologised I don’t have an issue with him still working in the media.
