Love him or hate him, playing the devil’s advocate he’s had a pretty bloody good trade season
Didn’t buckle to either of Port or Hawks
Shiel scenario prob would have happened if no knee clean up. I assume saints wanted to get him cheaply still but didn’t allow. Let’s hope Shiel has injury free year, helps us on field and we can sell him off for something decent end of next year
Well played on the free agents also. A lot would go in to the pitch and having them choose us

In the above twitter link talks in interview about plans for draft as well as trade results
These from HS article already posted in trade thread
One thing you can’t accuse Dodoro of is inexperience.
Our 2010, 2011, and 2012 drafts were all pretty rancid though. Heppell and Daniher fell into our laps, then other than that i think we fluffed every national draft pick across three drafts and only got saved by a couple of rookies and PSD longshots.

Man does his job in trade period. Not exactly strutting type stuff.
I want Dodoro gone as list manager, but I think he is very good as a negotiator, so I have no problem him remaining in that capacity.
He’s a great negotiator with other clubs but has historically been poor at negotiating contracts with cooked Essendon players (Smith, Stewart, etc)
That’s more a list management decision though. It’s possible that the coach really liked those players and the new coach didn’t.
More of a list management decision? He is the list manager
I say this in jest
Please leave.
Please Stay
Righteo Jonathon Dodoro
Just keep him away from the draft
