Adrian Dodoro - Flankers into Mids since 2000 (Part 2)

The mentor is to keep Rosa’s ego in check because he’s that good.

He needs a mentor so we don’t end up with another Dodoro size ego on our hands.

Looking at this person makes me feel uncomfortable

im pretty stoked at the club getting in OBrien.

33 years and at a premiership winning club! he is an absolute veteran and wont take any bullshit from Adrian.

Will move the club forward in recruitment.

Once saw a guy wearing a jacket with the tour dates.

The hypocrisy is appalling.

This appointment should move Dodoro even further out of the spotlight.

CEO pulling the strings.

Not sure if Eagles will be happy.

We will make up for it by sending X to be their CEO and we can send the Dodoro to replace O’Brien

true mental toughness is getting through an interview with him

O’Brien stepped down from the Eagles in December after the draft and have been looking for a new recruiter since dont think we poached him.

Dodoro can List manage the Eagles, will be great to see them on the bottom of the ladder for 20 years.

The list that Dodo built looked great today didn’t it? :flushed: That’s what happens when you recruit soft private school prefects.

The fact that this guy still earns a salary after being an abject failure for 20 odd years, says everything about Essendon right now.

Couldn’t agree more. And the thing that really gets to me is these absolute morons that keep sticking up for him. This guy has single handed turned a great club into a pile of ■■■■.

That stat that has Essendon top of the pile in 1st round draft picks says it all.

Can anyone confirm if people like Dodo, RFK, Rosa & now Wiggy from the weagles fall under the soft cap for football expenditure? It just seems in the last 12 months or so we’ve added Rosa, Keane came back & now O’Brien has joined the department but we don’t seem to have sacked anyone. Extra resources is great but I just want to know if it may effect resources in other areas.

I think Dodoro’s salary is classed as a donation so avoids the cap.

It is part of football expenditure.
It’s likely we’re doing some ‘creative accounting’ by moving Caracella into a partial VFL role. So that portion isn’t included in the AFL salary cap.
Same deal with other staff & football expenditure. Once you start filtering it into AFLW and VFLW, portions of the individual’s ’pay’ fall under other functions of the club.
We had Mahoney helping out with VFLW, Cloke crossing between VFLW, AFLW and specialist coach as well as S&C staff and also recruitment staff (wouldn’t think that includes Dodoro though).

Well, it is a donation to the rest of the comp, that they should be very pleased to receive…

Dodoro is on a supported wage. It explains a lot.
