I notice n article on EFC website that our team has nominated Jobe, Hepps and Jake Carlisle as our nominations for the MVP.
It then goes on to say:
"The Essendon trio received the most votes from their Bombers teammates and will not be placed among the best in the competition for the prestigious award."
Does this mean we've been declared ineligible for awards now???

Of course we are! You seriously didn't expect us to be still elligible did you?
would think it’s a typo and should be “now be placed” 
would think it's a typo and should be "now be placed" :P
