So players getting suspended left and right for the potential to cause concussion when tackling, yet when a club systematically tries to hide a concussion they get a pissweak fine with half of it suspended?
Absolutely pathetic. If it was Essendon I would want all involved out of the club. There’s been enough horror stories regarding concussion already. What a slap in the face.

if there’s pressure or scrutiny or whatever felt, then the statement about player’s health being the top priority is clearly bullsht. otherwise there would be no consideration at all of the “consequences of a decision to remove a star player from the game”

To be fair, Dangerfield has done an exceptional job at the AFLPA promoting the AFL over the players.

Dangerfield would be shithouse. I heard Matt de Boer was going to be the recent player that will be a commissioner. One of the smartest people in footy, would be a much better choice than danger.

If he IS one of the smartest people in footy, that would be a good reason the AwFL oligarchs would’t want him on the Commission.
Its very simple as to why they want him on the commission. He has a reputation for being a well spoken, respectable, clean figure within the AFL who loves nothing more than to get himself in front of the camera. Whenever the commission needs to wheel someone out to provide an explanation for anything, Dangerfield will be their man. Its a match made in heaven.
