And now all clubs need to have a full time Psychologist for both AFL and AFLW.
Where’s the announcement of the automatic increase in the soft cap to cover this additional expense?
(NB: I am in favour of this concept but will always question the AFL sincerity in such matters)

I think there are already soft cap exemptions for things like that.
The AFL just need to add X amount to each clubs distribution each year.
That’s what I’m referring to…
I’m sure that most (if not all) clubs would be spending all their soft cap already…so if this is an additional requirement, an increase in the cap must be brought in to cover it.

Go back and find out how many Tiwi footballers have played AFL or state League footy. You are dealing with a small population of less than 3000, so it will be hard to find AFL talent. Some must think they have a population of 50 or 100,000.

Very aware of their tiny population. But also aware of the superstars that have come from there. It feels we have completely dropped the ball as we didn’t see the value and I’m hoping the new list spot rule will change that.

AFL have created a circus, think they clever, no one with any pull protecting the brand.
I don’t mind it, adds some theatre to the game, like when the goal umpires wave their flag.
