Catching up on the game. Love the intensity of our players and winning contested ball.
Great effort first up. So many positives from some fresh faces.
Maggie Maclachlan a very nice addition to the squad. Looked very confident with ball in hand and her speed was noticeable.
Holly Ridewood’s workrate impressive, prototype speedy winger who looks dangerous aerially. Awesome debut.
Grace Belloni is class. Looked dangerous up forward, strong presence in the air but also very clean when it hits the deck. Easy to see her becoming an elite midfielder as time goes on.
Chambers with a few glimpses, feel like she will settle in as she plays a few games.
Courtney Murphy also very good first up. Moved well around the ground.
Finally something to cheer about after a disappointing year on the mens side.
I have to say the standard of our game really has gone up. A score of 85 is outstanding
Will be ahead of ahead of 8 of 12 men’s teams this round (from at least 15% less game time, so in fairness actually ahead of at least 10 of the 12 teams).
Not bad given we had a draw with GWS for clearances, and only modestly won the inside fifties. Could have otherwise been a fair bit more…
