Andrew Gaff - RFA

… then sign us up for the next 5 flags. But, realistically, one of them would be huge and I reckon put us into contention. I’m sure many won’t agree with me, but if given the choice between the two, I am taking Gaff.

Gaff is now only a 50/50 chance of staying at West Coast.

Gaff, Shiel and Beams are all managed by Paul Connors.

I’m hoping we can get 2 of them.

He’s always been a 50/50 chance. He either stays, or he goes, 50/50.

You’re saying we should hook Dylan Shields?

Maybe, but we could also offer Gaff the captaincy.

No he was not leaving West Coast 100% but that has changed

That’s not what a 50/50 chance means…

It would be pretty hard for him to stay in WA now and have a normal life. The cretins would never let him walk down the street.

EFC the place to find yourself absolution.

We will take you in Gaffy!

Trying to minimise the games he’ll miss for us next year.

So what was he before?

Yeah instead he can come to Essendon and get abused by us cretins on here.

Plenty of willing participants

We better watch what we say, he has a mean left hook

Gaff is an RFA thus West Coke have the ability to match any offer that a potential suitor may place on the table. I’m backing that our salary cap space (and desire to use same) is greater than West Coke’s thus it should be a no brainer to get Gaff without having to give up anything. Once that’s achieved it’s a simple matter of swapping our first rounder to GWS for Sheil.

Effectively this means we don’t need to worry about all the priority picks going to Scum and Sunsetters as well as the compensation pick for Lynch.

Like he isn’t already

He was pretty much staying but now it’s not a sure thing

I doubt West Coast would even tray and match.
I reckon they would just let him go.
