Should have won by a lot more, way too cute around half forward and generally wasteful in front of goals.
Completely controlled the game though outside of about 10 minutes
Defence holding their depth and staying more compact looks a million times better

Any other year Martin would be a big chance to win the rising star. Bit hard going up against Daicos but so happy for Nick to come from where he has. Keeps getting it done.

And we’re playing a lot of inexperienced players, with more to bring back in at some point.
It does. I knew we would come good in the back half of the season when there’s no pressure or weight of expectation, it’s the Essendon way. Bet you won’t see this type of performance in the first half of next season.
