Weirdly i thought we competed well in the contest and won contested possessions.
Smith and Holmes tore us up on the outside and then everything was compounded as our backline turned it over time and time again.

Not much we can do with 6 teenagers in the team and a couple of debutantes.
They all had good moments at times, but Geelong are a bloody good side.
Our senior players do lack polish and consistency. 2 will play well, then another 2 or 3 will drift out of the game.
Please can we ■■■■ Perkins and Gresham off permanently!
Johnson was bloody good down back.

The young guys just need time
There is no easy fix
There is no point dropping McGrath, Perkins or any of the other whipping boys because at the moment the cupboard is bare and there is no one to replace them

We got rinsed by forward half turnovers. This is just our lot for this year. Green shoots are there watching young players develop.
