Very impressive games from Lav & 2MP
I actually think that we can take this side somewhere. I spoke with an EFC legend over some scotch yesterday.
He reckons this side could become something and is probably the best side we have since 2001.
He was shocked by how good Cox & Perkins are. He also played footy with Jones’ dad in the under 19’s and reckons he is a good essendon kid.

Zerk I thought had a few wobbles early, pretty tidy 2nd half. Guelfi & Jones both quiet through three quarters, good in the last.
Hooker the only one who never got going - that mark bouncing off his chest was a very worrying sign.
Frang/Zaha, obviously.
That’s about it I think?
