That is the core of the problem, He wanted to, but put the club before himself as they threatened to deregister the club.
However it would have been interesting if that happened.
First we would have possibly been playing finals! yay.
but by now everything should have been out in court. and hopefully would be closer to a conclusion.
If the AFL deregistered us, they would have stuffed up tv rights contract and I believe there would have been people demonstrating outside AFL.House.
Chappy definitely wouldn't have come!
And im not 100% sure they would have done that.

I read a bit of it, and was of the same opinion.
But like you, what does it actually change ? or stop ?
It won't until someone actually takes some action against them in a court of law. As i've always agreed with, actions speak louder than words, and asking bullies nicely to not do something, rarely ever works.
