Not just starting in July but we should be scouting for assistant/development coaches the year round like we do for players. It needs its own, continuous focus.

The best coach I ever had did every drill run with us even road runs
When he gave his first talk u 16 he said if he couldn’t do it he wouldn’t expect the team to do it.
I looked at him and went wow this guy is 18 stone training will be a breeze but Fark me he did everything no questions asked
Only other rule was stay away from my daughters lol

Get Marty a role in our strength and conditioning team.
Gary will be excellent at providing advice on succeeding in finals. He played in 4 grand finals (won only 1) for 1 goal despite averaging more than a goal a game throughout his career.
Adam Simpson rumoured to be taking a part time role at FarkCarlton - good get by them.
Hinkley is taking the year off, isn’t he? Thought I’d seen that somewhere.

I have no idea whether Gary Rohan will be any good, but having spent a bunch of time at Sydney and Geelong should bring with it some good practices.

Still waiting for a head of development. Surely we get one soon. Was hoping for Stewart Edge after he left the Dogs. Coached their VFL side to the flag, decade plus experience, worked in development. Worked at multiple clubs. Thought he’d be a great pick up. Not sure if someone else has nabbed him or if he’s hanging it up.
