At the movies - From the couch

Then why did you blur it as a spoiler when someone asked you to. You also said “fair call”.

Maybe have some consideration for others

Because I wanted to just agree and move on.

You will note that by doing so I have actually demonstrated that consideration for others that you’re asking for.

Cheers.

There’s probably also no need to call me a dimwit. All I said was that I was disappointed that you had posted a spoiler to a much anticipated movie on the first day it was released. I don’t think that’s worthy of name calling

Please accept my most sincere, unreserved and considered apologies.

I’m gonna spoil the whole franchise for everyone.

Neo is an anagram for “One”…

Think about that.

I’m new around here, but do you behave this nastily forwards other posters or is it just me?

You could have easily just admitted you made a mistake and apologised rather than calling me a dimwit because I said I was disappointed. It’s not even that big of a deal really

Good night

I did apologise for you mate. What more do you want. Maybe I can shout you a rub & tug at one of the establishments in the Diggers thread, would that suffice?

Don’t Look Up (@swoodley s review) it was a decent movie, the epilogue was quite funny, and agree, I thought at times it was a bit like a comedy but then was quite serious.

Yes.

As a child he lived in the Overlook hotel but had to figure out why a house would want to play “golf”.

‘Don’t Look Up’ is excellent. Satirical look at today’s vacuous western culture. Slams US politics, the mega rich and the media among others. Ensemble cast with Meryl Streep (US President), Jonah Hill (her chief of staff/son), Leo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence (scientists), and the scary brilliant Cate Blanchett who steals the show (TV show host) all confronting an ‘end of days’ comet.

Hmmm.
Better be good.

Watching it right now…excellent p!ss take on the rich & powerful….heaven help us plebs when the robots are smart enough to do all the work.

Here you go…

Watched Don’t Look Up last night and thought it was very good. A good blend of observational comedy and drama. One of the better Netflix movies IMO, which I acknowledge is not exactly a ringing endorsement given some of the tripe they’ve churned out, but this one is well worth a look.
