I really enjoyed it as a nostalgia sequel…until the final game- which was a big letdown. It just went too crazy and over the top
I wasn’t expecting Virginia to die, that really shocked me. But made me laugh at the same time. Shooter mcgavin is still one of the best movie characters. Cracked me up every time he was on screen. Liked his little hero moment at the end

Kpop Demon Hunters is a legit fun watch. I think it could have used a few more minutes of focus on the secondary characters so the last act hit harder, but I’m nitpicking. And damn, the soundtrack just blazing good, full of absolute earworms that’s you’ll be humming to yourself for weeks. There’s three at least that would be right up with the best pop songs of any year you’d care to name.

Agree! I really didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did.
I can comfirm that this is also true.
It’s hard to describe how big of a hit this has been with the pre-teen kids. Every kid in my daughter’s class is talking about it and singing all the songs all day. She went to a birthday party yesterday at the roller skating rink, and they played every song from the movie, and all the kids were word-perfect on them.
I finally relented and watched it over the weekend at my daughter’s insistence… and yeah, it’s actually pretty good. I see the appeal.

Reviews are generally pretty positive for Happy Gilmore 2. Im in the minority in that I thought it was awful, I watched it straight after the Friday night game (maybe it was the down mood I was in), I think I laughed about as many times as Ess kicked goals.
It was just a revolving door of cameos, recurring characters and rehashed jokes

its ok, but not amazing. if you’re expecting it to be as good as the first one then thats on you.
