One Battle After Another best picture, director, and adapted screenplay at the critics choice awards and has nine Golden Globe nominations.

Mrs Wim and I just watched it (after some tepid blitz reviews). I thought it was very good, and Mrs Wim absolutely loved it.

I thought the score was incredible. Really ranked up the tension. Di Caprio was good, but Penn and Del Toro were better.

Agree wholeheartedly, although scene of the movie for me was his painful interaction over the phone with the passphrase.

It was the entire ‘railroad’ scene for me, from the moment they entered the shop to when he left. Viva!!! for me.

Edit: Mrs Wim’s was ”Old mate casually saying 8:15” and the hilly road shot.

I spent the night watching The Housemaid. It had a fantastic start. I felt a little more background information about the daughter was required. The movie is predictable for the most part. I really wanted to enjoy the film. Maybe a 6/10. If you enjoy Basic Instinct/Cruel Intentions/ Talented Mr Ripley, watch

Just read that a new jackass film is coming out in June

They are too old to be doing it now
The last one wasn’t that good

But there is nothing better than watching jackass in a packed theatre. I can’t wait

Just saw 28 years later- bone temple. It’s pretty good. It’s pretty slow and very gnarly in places( one scene in particular was almost too much for me)

But Fiennes and O’Connell are both brilliant. They play evil and good perfectly

If you’re a fan of the series, you will like it. If your not, you might wonder what the hell is going on

And

that last 5min. Jim’s back!!!, I knew he was going to be at the end of the movie( it leaked out) and I was still super excited to see him, and when the 28 days score kicks in…..can’t wait for the final movie

Do you need to see the third one?

Yeah, to understand this and take it all in fully- you HAVE to see the 3rd movie

Well, crap.
Okay. I appreciate the heads up.

I do not understand the current obsession with that actor fellow. Powell or what have you.

Ha! I said that to my wife a few weeks back dingus.

Glen Powell, clearly sold his soul to gain such a career. I just don’t get it, he’s not a good actor, he’s not particularly hansom nor announce “leading man”, I just don’t get it.

I would suggest he should give his agent a pay rise because they are the best in the business.

Male equivalent to Jennifer Lawrence

Nah thats harsh, she’s won an oscar.

More the equivalent to Millie Bobby Brown.

She shouldn’t have

I honestly don’t get hollywoods obsession with trying to shove Powell down everyone’s throat and make him a thing

He is handsome, but that’s it. No real presence on camera, not a lot of charisma, apart from Top Gun( in which he wasn’t one of the main stars), he hasn’t been in anything great

He’s a somewhat handsome Everyman, has comic timing, a buff Wilson brother. The sports comedy he’s in has its moments. Doesn’t surprise me, there’s heaps of much worse actors getting roles.

I was actually surprised by Running Man, liked the story as a kid but this adaptation was more nuts than i expected, had a bit of 80’s style over the topness i quite enjoyed

The pile on for the Powell bloke needs to take into account how ■■■■■■■ terrible the Running Man movie is.

It’s such a farkin good book. They didn’t even finish with the iconic ending
