At the movies - From the couch

You can’t just go playing the Ralph Fiennes card like that.

Of course he was better. He’s better than everyone.

Watched ‘Grand Budapest Hotel’ last night. Concur with the Fiennes praise.

What a horn bag.

Margret isn’t bad either.

A movie about a pedo eligible for an award

It’s high time Guitarricadelafuente was given their due.

I don’t think The Apprentice was nominated?

Crowe is very, very good in Nuremberg.

It’s difficult to imagine anyone else with the weight (figuratively, although we can go for the cheap laugh as well) to play the role.

Honestly hard to fault any of the performances in that movie.

M night has really lost over his past 3-4 movies.

Not sure if that trailer is enough to win me back tbh

I didn’t watch the movie, but this pitch meeting episode for old is hilarious. Sounded like a disaster of a movie.

Just finished watching ‘Never Look Away’, a 2018 German language film, and I’d have to say it’s close to the best movie I’ve ever seen.

It runs for over three hours, but leaves you wishing it went for longer. Simply superb.

I was the complete opposite for this movie. Massively let down.

Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor carried a weak script and an utter waste of screen time for the dinosaurs.

I’d have liked for starters a main character who wanted to stay behind in the past.

What’s it on?

I watched it on DVD, courtesy of a generous fellow Blitzer downsizing his collection.
