Rupert Murdoch probably earns that daily.

I still think he’s a manipulating greedy ■■■■

They keep making them because they are the type of Movie with amazing special effects etc, that most people will still fork out to see in a Cinema if they want to see them at all.

You could graph the exponential increase in huge action/comic films right alongside the rise of web based stuff like netflix et al, …

They’re all ■■■■■■, apart from the first Thor and the first hulk which were done by decent directors.

The rest is drivel. Seriously.

Today’s special word is “drivel”.

Out of all those movies, have only seen one.

Thor: Ragnarok on the plane coming home from our trip. Was entertaining, but wouldn’t go to the movies to see one.

Can understand the appeal though, pure escapism.

Well you are the resident expert in drivel

It’s NOT a toooomer

Creed.
Saw this last week. It is a movie that breaks down into two parts, as others in here have mentioned. There is the non ring action side which is done very well and builds a good back story with decent depth on the character development for both Creed & Rocky in the blue corner and the Dragos in the red corner. Then there is the in ring action which was pretty cliche, and as unrealistic as ever. Kudos to them for trying to break out of the Rocky mould, they almost succeeded but they weren’t quite brave enough. Stallone showed that he is a capable actor when given a decent role. Michael B. Jordan can do it all.
