Australian Politics, Mark II

Amusing to me that the Media would be pushing for “reform and transparency”.

Media gets “lobbied” by political and corporate lobbists more than poiticians and they have their snouts and most of their heads completely in the trough. Media get more free trips from sponsors than any othe rgroup including doctors from Pharma Companies !!

I have been part of many Lobby Groups trekking to Canberra, spending hours trudging around Parliament House meetings with anyone who would listen to our pleas.

I actually think that the only reform that is needed is that all MPs should have to publish who they have met with during the past week every Monday morning. We would then find out, who is lobbying who, and if MPs are actually doing anything.

It’s certainly not the mainstream media pushing for it. Essentially they’re pushing for exactly what you’ve mentioned.

It took Dreyfus 3 years and an AAT ruling to get the release of Brandis diaries under FOI. Even then, they were redacted.

Yep, even the Pollies I know very well keep their diary more secret than their love life.

In fact, I am currently amused that a campaign committee, I am on for the upcoming State Election, does not do minutes of meeting as they are scared that those dirty rotten liberal grubs will see them and disrupt our acitvities. I get amazed at how important some political hangers-on think they are.

O’Dwyer has appointed the guy who wrote work choices to go through union regulations. Here we go, here we go, here we go.

@Mendozaaaa will like this.

I had a few medical exams to do last week and found out I had an electronic record created.

Only thing was that most of the details were wrong. Referring doctor, wrong. Normal gp, wrong. Surname, wrong, emergency contacts typos everywhere.

Only other thing on it was a blood test from 2008.

When I asked why it was all wrong when the referral sent through had all the details they couldn’t (probably know they got slack and were caught out) explain.

So if I didn’t notice anything the specialist could’ve sent to the wrong GP and potentially delay any treatment I needed.

FAIL.

ScoMo to you thanks. And it isn’t the Liberal Party it is the ScoMo Team. Get on board.

Apparently the LNP didn’t cut $2b from aged care. It was “an efficiency dividend”.

How’d that work out for ya you soulless ■■■■■■?

They can’t even support their voting base

Is it too cynical to presume someone has done the numbers and figured once it’s too late and people are in that state they don’t vote anyway?

Not everyone in aged care are incapable, and there are plenty of people who aren’t yet in aged care but will be, and they will care about this issue

And there are also voters who have aged/ageing relatives , representing a big section of the electorate.

SloMo sniffs some votes.

His whole role from now until the election is damage mitigation; Nice Guy ScuMo™

News Corpse has been projecting that since day 1 of the ScuMo regime.
