Australian Politics, Mark II

After Truss retired, there was not much left in the Nats gene pool. Could explain why the Trade portfolio, which had always been the Nats preserve, was given to a Lib in the post Gillard Government.
Barnaby now seen as a Nats liability, but Nats make poor choices in their selection of candidates and are seen as riding roughshod over local branches.

Griffith where I used to live now has a SF member in parliament, been NAT seat for years. Number 1 reason the NATs got punted is fracking licences. They have finally worked out the nats actually don’t give a ■■■■ about farmers. That slime McCormack is next.

Water licensing has also been a big issue, with the up stream rip offs of water by the likes of the cotton industry ( a lot of which is US owned) and which Joyce is all for.

Number one fear for me is that the their federal counterparts and the MSM learn from this and go totally silent on the devicive stuff that has riled everyone up. I reckon the Nats are still in for a hammering though in those basin seats. May not unseat them all but the margins will narrow enough to make them rethink things (or at least be more secretive).

M Daley will go down as the biggest buffoon to be opposition leader…

ill give you some examples

accused the SCg cricket ground trust of removing fire sprinklers from the sydney foot ball stadium…only problem was its never had fire sprinklers and one of the reasons its getting rebuilt…

The schools before stadiums campaign dismal failure considering records amounts are being spent on infrastructure after 16 years of his own party doing jack ■■■■.

appoints PE teacher as treasurer who wehn asked what percentage of budget is spent on health replies mmmm ill guess 40 %

zHe even lost votes in his own electorate…now that says it all

If you missed Q&A, totally worth a watch.

Vice President of the Liberal Party Teena McQueen, she’s a special one.

Got absolutely zero understanding of social issues or political issues. Tony Bourke didn’t need to say a thing while she kept digging a bigger and bigger hole for herself, every time she opened her mouth.

Actually watched tonight for the 1st time this year. Not sorry I did.

What a fkn joke that woman is, … and was justifiably pilloried for it. Every time she opened her mouth she just made it worse.

She is the absolute exemplar of the modern day ToneDeaf Liberal Born to Rule fktards.

She might be in trouble for accusing Di Natale of hate speech

Should be, anyway. She’s a brainless baggage.

She told us proudly that she was the only member of the panel who’d met Donald Trump. It was in 2006, when she was over there, chaperoning Miss Australia in the Miss World competition…

If she thinks what RDN said was hate speech, it makes perfect sense that the libs have no idea what racism is

Ashby/One Nation busted by Al Jazeera sting doco trying to solicit Millions from the NRA in the US, and seeking advice on how to water down Aus Gun Laws.

This Ashby farker, fair dinkum. Will this finally be the end of this cockroach ??

She is a Prime example of a Liberal person who has never spent time in the real world. She has no understaning of social etiquacy, no understanding of social ethics, and no understanding of social issues.

Completely naive and living in another world. Even the member of the Nationals was made to look articulate with a strong understanding of social issues.

Mehreen Faruqi from the Greens made a joke about being an Asian with a PHD that is looking to take everyone’s jobs, and McQueen was arguing that it was a racist comment… simply no understanding.

She is a very prime example of the quality of people running the Liberals.

That said, bet there was shiteloads of viewer nodding their heads in furious agreement with everything she said.

If only the people truly running the Liberals would show their faces on TV, instead they get their dancing monkeys and empty-headed puppets to sell Australia down the river on prime time.

I love how one nations reply is ‘we’ve reported Al Jazeera to the AFP’.

Reportedly Lib hierarchy are trying to get her off TV. She refused Greiner’s request to get off Sky After Dark because she has a contract and the money’s good.
Q&A tries to balance the panel. When Laundy pulled out for family reasons, strange that he was not replaced by another moderate sitting Lib member. She ended up as the only Lib on the panel.

Which is why you should always employ puppets and not notoriously mischevious monkeys.

Labor even won a NSW seat( Lismore) from the Nats. Two days after the election NSW Nats Water Minister resigns from the Ministry, announces intent to retire from Parliament.
Joyce now talking about product differentiation from Libs. But how far can a Coalition partner differentiate policy?
And, as for Joyce, he is a Nats liability on water issues. SFF party made it clear that its rural NSW campaign was run on water, shooters issues did not get a mention.

What’s the under/over on Joyce going independent?
