Rich Lawyer/Doctor/Accountants would have businesses set up in trusts etc, or be paying wife salary out of business to reduce tax and use up thresholds.
Maybe average Lawyer/doctors would.
But also in my experience, these people dont have trophy wives, but also doctors/lawyers/accountants/teachers/nurses as wives who also work as well. thus negating the impact.

People eligible for senior aust offset can have incomes up to like 30 grand tax free so get more franking credits back.

Most Doctors buy a farm worth over $500k and they spend money on it (similar to negative gearing) increasing the capital value of the property and deduct the losses against their income.
250k income limit is a bit of a issue as well for claiming losses so need to earn under that.
Best strategy is to put contribute your $25,000 per year into to super
then any income is only taxed at 15%
and they can also contribute other assets non concessionally as well $100k per year.
