Yellow at worst. No ■■■■■■■ way that was a red.
They deserve the lead but Jesus.

Disagree. Last defender shirt pull. Can see why it was given.

Would have to agree. Always in trouble when the last defender infringes

Big Orlando is a mountain… Very hard to stop

half expected the loss. arrived in australia friday arvo for a saturday game, heart rampaging with a point to prove, defence utterly depleted

did not expect that performance. pitiful. as stal said, not sure you could say we had one decent chance

the opening two goals were from stupid mistakes again, trying to play/walk out of decence. seems to be where the majority of our goals are coming from

you'd think we're being coached by a striker

two five nillers and a four nil. certainly not the CV of a title calibre football team

last night should have been 8 zip too

3 games in 7 days including 16 hours in the air. Our squads are not as deep as the European ones, we had no chances even before kick off.

I have seen so much sooking(Not here mind you) from my fellow victory fans it's embarassing. Refusing to admit that we got outplayed and just keeping posting heart hate speaches. Guys seriously take the loss and move on.

Must of took the one team in melbourne chant to heart (pardon the pun lol)

Scotty, I bet I know who you are talking about on Twitter.

Anyway, that's probably the last game we will lose to Heart

Got to admit as a heart fan i left the xmas derby thinking where to from here for this club? ... Now after this Derby man city has brought the club, JVS has a good tactical style ... How things have changed.

Derby win always good, and a resounding one even better - but still don't really get how any Heart fans are cocky about anything.

Maybe when you've scored a goal in finals, let alone won one, let alone a title, let alone two: then you can sing.

Bit hollow 2nd from bottom!

Would'nt say cocky, (thou cant speak for all) i think most would be extremely happy with the last 6 weeks form, Would be silly to say we will win the league, But at the moment the sky is alot brighter now than 10 weeks ago

Maybe, I guess behind Utd & Wellington (8th & 9th at half-way, now 3rd & 7th) you've been the improvers, but still haven't moved very far.

Heart have the (current) top 4 in the last 4 weeks, so if they get in, they've earnt it.

We always are aware finals is still  a long shot, I think in the last 6 weeks we have seen such an amazing turn around, Winning away, beating teams 5-0 and 4-0, I guess you could say after that horror run we are very happy with the results we have achieved on and off the field. Obvioussly its a long way too go.

It's a dog act, but I was copping a bit this morning about it. I told them about the trip to asia and got the usual "yeah, excuses excuses"

So I just told them that it is difficult but Heart fans wouldn't understand because the closest thing you have come to an ACL was Adrian Zahra.

It was always going to be tough for Victory to play in China on Wednesday night, return to Melbourne after midnight on Thursday ( Fri am ), and get up for the game. It's a tough ask ! I don't understand why the game wasn't played on Sunday as effectively Glory had no preparation. I suppose it could have been worse if Victory played in Korea or in one of the gulf states.

The Aussie teams cant play any of the Gulf teams in group stage. The comp is split into East and West for group stage so the earliest we play them is in the knockout stage. It is a tough ask to play in Asia midweek and return home and play well on weekend but other clubs have done it, think for memory Adelaide had a 23 hour journey home from Uzbekistan in the quarters that consisted of 3 connecting flights and managed to win on the following weekend. Viccy's next ACL game is home so there will be no excuses

Who did you play either side of it?

And aren't most of the knockout stage played at the end of our season anyway?

Im pretty sure the QF and SF was mid October for memory. Seem to recall us playing the Roar in Brissie and then flying to Uzbekistan midweek before returning home and playing Perth in Adelaide.
Pretty sure we asked the FFA to postpone one of our fixtures but it was rejected
Pretty sure the knockout stage is still in October with the GF in early November

Wiki says Adelaide played in Uzbekistan on March 6.

Either side of that they lost 0-1 (home) on the 2nd & 0-2 (away) on the 11th.

Maybe there's another occurrence

Have played in Uzbekistan 3 times. In 2008 we beat them in the semis and that was definately October. In 2012 we played them at group stage in March and then drew them again in the quarters which was in May

Yep, Oct 08.

A-league L away on 17/10, AFC loss away 22/10, then A-league win at home on 26/10 & L away on 31/10.

Any danger the FFA could give their clubs a chance, move a couple of fixtures a few days back/forward?
