stop having plodder defenders in both teams

Well, we traditionally don’t start well, that’s something I guess.

Great result for Italian soccer in the last 24 hrs

Italy 3 - 0 Greece overnight

Now the woman rolling the aussies

Happy with that

So true. As soon as that free kick was called you knew they’d concede. AUSTRALINGTON

The Greeks were lucky it was only 3-0!
They are a seriously rubbish football side

Reckon the Italian side is bog ordinary - lots of plodders. Greek keeper was probably man of the match for greece even though they lost 3-0.

Nah.

We got well and truely out played in that second half. They should have had a few more goals in the second.

100% Italy had some big chances in that second half. Should’ve put about 5 or 6 past them

Will the females cop as much flack as the males? Going to ge hard to get out if the group with Brazil coming up.

Tell you what was bog ordinary? the crowed, should’ve called some of your cousins and uncles and aunties to get on down there to at least make it look respectable.

You’d hope so, the men at least just go to the WC to make up the numbers, the women on the other hand, they’re among the favourites to win the whole thing. The got soundly beaten in that second half. A team like USA or Brazil will cause a lot of problems for an already shaky defence

Nah, they never do.

The narrative for women’s football regarding National expectations is toned down a lot.

It was weird watching a team in Australian colours putting in dozens of playable crosses.

Yet they still didnt score directly from a single cross.

Yes - But there form has been on a decline in the last 12 months, particularly the last few months after the sacking of their coach.

It’ about time that Italy is showing more in women’s soccer - After all they’ve had a professional league since 1968.
