BBFFL#2 Ladder After Round 6

Great effort. It is well and truly the best ever by the squad. The highest Pazza ever managed was 1330 in Round 5 last year. He only scored 1300 or more 6 times.

This year has been a lot harder for me in terms of the final few spots in the 18. Hooker, Carlisle, Walters, have been very up and down. Normally when I pick one in the 18 they struggle, and the guys on thr bench score well. Happy though to have Ablett back in form. WHE has been a revelation!

Youā€™ve done a great job getting that squad competitive, @ivan. Youā€™ve also gathered some great assets for mid-year trades, if youā€™ve got a strategy for the mid to long term.

If I could field 3 more mids Iā€™d be averaging over 1500 and Iā€™d be very competitive

To be scoring what I am with 3-4 short a fucken week is a decent effort. I lose games because Iā€™m short. All my other guys score well

Round 5 Summary

51 Bewick scored a new low score for 2017. His score of 1229 was his lowest score since Elimination Final loss to Westozziebomber in 2015 when he only managed 1105. Overall this was his 33rd lowest score (70th highest) as a BBFFL#2 coach.

Bargey scored a new season best by scoring 1643 in his Round 5 victory. This score was his 5th best ever score and his best since the 1741 he scored in Round 11 last year. The 1741 is his second highest ever BBFFL#2 tally, behind his 2015 Grand Final winning total of 1780.

Birch19 scored his 3rd best total for the season and managed to beat Silly Billy for the first time in 3 attempts. This means that Birch19 has now defeated all 21 BBFFL#2 coaches he has been opposed to ā€“ Ivan will become the 22nd opposition coach when they meet in Round 7. Pazza is the only coach Birch19 has a perfect record against, 6 wins from 6 attempts.

After beginning the season with back to back wins Cafegerat lost his 3rd in a row in Round 5. He also scored his lowest score for the season by only totalling 1173. This was his lowest score since scoring 1095 in Round 19 last year.

Come Back Hirdy scored his 3rd best score for the season in his victory over 51 Bewick. This was his first ever victory over 51 Bewick in their 6th meeting.

Don to Death scored a new season high by scoring 1451. This was his 23rd best ever score and highest since managing 1520 in Round 2016.

Eggs scored a new season low in scoring 1372 in Round 5. Overall this was his 56th lowest (47th highest score) and lowest since Round 19 2016 when he scored 1328.

Ivanā€™s winning streak ended at one by going down to Saladin. His score of 1267 was his 2nd highest as a BBFFL#2 coach.

No. 5 made it 5 wins on the trot to start the season by knocking over Eggs. He also achieved a new season PB by scoring 1505 which was his 12th highest score as a BBFFL#2 coach. It was his highest score since scoring 1554 in Round 18 2016.

Redbull scored his 2nd highest score for the season and 3rd best score as a BBFFL#2 coach. His score of 1545 only ranks behind his highest score ever of 1726 achieved in Round 3 this year and his second highest score of 1550 scored in Round 12 2016. This was also Redbullā€™s 100th match as a BBFFL#2 coach. The win meant he had won 36 wins from these 100 matches.

Saladin set a new personal best as a BBFFL#2 coach in Round 5 by scoring 1490. This beat his previous best of 1479 scored back in Round 19 2014. The previous coach of this team, TDSpartan managed 11 scores higher than 1490 in his 2 seasons as a BBFFL#2 coach - 2012 and 2013. TDSpartanā€™s PB was 1561 scored in Round 15 2012.

Silly Billy scored a new season high of 1267 in Round 5. This was his 25th highest overall score and his best score since scoring 1367 in Round 18 in 2016.

Smooth made it 5 straight wins to begin 2017. This is the first time he has ever managed this feat, beating his 4 straight wins to start 2015. Remarkably Smooth has lost just 2 games since the start of 2016 in 27 starts ā€“ Round 2 and unfortunately the Grand Final.

Stoopsā€™ poor start to the season continued with yet another loss, making it 5 straight to start the year. This further extended the longest losing streak for Stoops to 6.

The Melkman was unable to win 3 straight for the first time since 2015 in his defeat to Redbull. His score of 1266 was his 2nd lowest for 2017, only ahead of 1204 scored in Round 4. The 1266 would have been his 4 highest score for the entire 2016 season.

TrevorBix was unable set a new standalone winning streak of 4 wins, as he went down to Smooth. He score of 1281 was his 2nd lowest for 2017.

Wezza scored his second lowest score for 2017 by only scoring 1413, higher than only the 1318 he scored in Round 1. Overall the 1413 was his 63rd lowest score.

Westozziebomberā€™s season continued to prove unsuccessful as he suffered his 5th straight loss for the first time as a BBFFL#2 coach. His score of 1221 was his 2nd best for the season and his 100th highest overall from 111 matches.

Shoot me

ffs UF say there are going to take a more lenient approach with rewarding 2nd rucks, and then give absolutely no new rucks in their latest round of position changesā€¦

Nothing for me :frowning:

Andy Otten (AD ā€“ B) add F
Will Hoskin-Elliott (CW ā€“ F) add C
Travis Colyer (ES ā€“ F) add C
Hayden Crozier (FR ā€“ B) add F
Lachlan Weller (FR ā€“ F) add B
George Hewett (SY ā€“ F) add C
Blake Hardwick (HW ā€“ F) add B

Happy with Crozier getting dual position. Now I just Ross the Boss to put him back in the back line where he actually is a decent fantasy player. He just gets lost up forward and his scores are down accordingly. Iā€™ll let him hold off making the move until after this weekend.

Spot on. Your 5 defenders pulled 550 points last week which is astonishing.

Itā€™s lack of numbers that are killing you, the quality is top notch on the field.

Oh dear. Up against Red and Beams is out and the reserve Centre - Bowes- is dropped! Knight still injured/not in. Flexibility of the list is really being stretched now. I could bring in one of Francis/Obrien/Green and move Hopper to midfield. Or i can wait and see if Mutch makes his debut.

Either way, its an uphill battle this week.
